就当是技术相关的吧。当然以我现在放在一般公司总能达到英语读写水平前 5% 的水准基本不用学英语了🤣找个理由查漏补缺顺便水篇博客而已.

起因是三枪之神 CL 用了一下 unhelpful 这个词，然后我还以为 CL 用错了😂因为我以前真的真的从来没见过 unhelpful 这个词……虽然根据词缀可以猜出来大概是什么意思。

现在重新看下这两个词，虽然我估计这种词八百辈子也不一定能在文档里出现一次……就算出现了，想必也比较好理解……

unhelpful

adj. If you say that someone or something is unhelpful, you mean that they do not help you or improve a situation, and may even make things worse. 没有帮助的; 无益的

• The criticism is both unfair and unhelpful. 这种批评既不公正又无助益.
• …unhelpful company staff. 没用的公司员工

当时随便造了个句子, CL 说形容 xxx 没用的话一般是用 useless 或是 of no use.

helpless

adj. If you are helpless, you do not have the strength or power to do anything useful or to control or protect yourself. 无助的; 无力量的; 无能力的

• Parents often feel helpless, knowing that all the cuddles in the world won’t stop the tears… 父母经常感到无能为力, 因为他们知道无论多少次拥抱也无法止住眼泪.
• Children are dying, and I am helpless to do anything… 孩子们已奄奄一息，而我却无力做任何事情。
